We will have news on the premiere of the movie Romeo & Juliet soon as we iron out the details. There will likely be two showings – once for the VIPs (cast, crew, etc.) and then a public showing later, as well as TV and streaming. Stay tuned to this space, Facebook groups, etc.
Check out the food and merchandise the Fine Arts Boosters of Littleton have available for sale for the 2020 Virtual Holiday Bazaar, including a new “Dramatic” shirt design, and help support the performing arts in Littleton Public Schools!
Here are the highlights from the meeting:
– Technical difficulties
– Played a game
– Lots of things are still up in the air, but we will be doing a filmed performance
– Audition Monologues – I know that these are challenging, and doing a monologue is intimidating. I am not expecting perfection, just the best you can do.
– Tech: hoping to add design (you’ll notice in the form) and filming help
– Choose 1-2 monologues to familiarize yourself with, I’ll hold some meetings next week to help you with them. At auditions (date TBD) you’ll only do 1.
– Hopefully I’m not forgetting anything. I won’t have everyone’s emails until they fill out the form, so forward this to anyone else who is interested 🙂
I’m excited to get started! As always, email me with any questions.
The Fine Arts Boosters of Littleton (FABL) will hold its annual meeting on Monday, November 2nd, 2020 at 7:30pm.

From Music Director Kathryn Denney:
Hello Littleton Drama! We wish you all a safe and happy school vacation, and want you to spread this important information to anyone you think might be interested.
Beauty and the Beast 2020 will begin on January 2, 2020 with a meeting of cast parents at 6:00. Cast members will begin at 6:30 by singing together, learning a few songs, playing acting games and reviewing acting skills, dancing together and learning some dances.
For the first three rehearsals, we will be getting to know each other, learning music and dancing, and learning the ensemble numbers from the show. These rehearsals are:
Thursday, January 2 from 6-8:30
Saturday, January 4 from 9-12
Monday, January 6 from 3:30-6:30
Auditions will be EITHER Wednesday, January 8 between 3:30 and 6:30, OR Thursday, January 9 between 6 and 8:30. More information will be distributed at the rehearsals on January 2, 4, and 6.
Happy vacation, happy holidays and happy New Year!
Thanks for your amazing auditions!! This was a DIFFICULT show to cast, as there were SO many great reads and amazing voices!! Yaaaaaayyyyy!! I am super excited to get started, and will be working on the rehearsal schedule this week. We WILL be doing a read thru on Thurs., Feb. 7 at 7:00 pm in the auditorium, and the first music rehearsal will be Sat., Feb 9 at 10:30-1:00 in the auditorium. I am still waiting for the contract for the rights, so will have to run off the librettos to use until we can get them….
We will be doing all music rehearsals in Feb., with maybe some choreo. starting as the numbers are learned. When you know which numbers you are in, please try to learn them as soon as possible, so we can get the choreo started. You can find most of the numbers on YouTube…. Blocking will be in March, as well as putting it all together, and then continue to polish in April. Since we have Feb. break and April break with no rehearsals, I expect everyone to do A LOT on their own to make this show fabulous!! We also don’t have the auditorium in May, but for a few times, so I am planning on having the show ready to go by the end of April…..with tech, etc. happening then. We will be using a lot of roll on flats, with set pieces, so they can be stored by the side and not get into the way.
Anywho—–here is the full cast list!!
Thank you all for accepting your parts!! This is going to be such fun, no matter what part you are……AND remember……EVERY part is IMPORTANT to the story!! This show is a perfect example of ensemble work…..we ALL need to work together!!
Love you all! Have a great day!!
